Gli Storm{O} nascono a Feltre (BL) nel 2005 come trio alternative rock. A causa di cambi di formazione, avvenuti nel corso dello stesso anno, il loro suono diventa più violento e complicato, evolvendosi in un eclettico post-hardcore influenzato da Converge, Botch, Mare e The Dillinger Escape Plan. La band mantiene comunque le atmosfere ambient, intime ed emozionalmente intense che caratterizzarono la prima fase, influenzata da Verdena e Deftones. Nel 2007 viene pubblicato un EP autoprodotto, che viene immediatamente notato dalla scena e dalle etichette post-hardcore italiane e viene recensito molto positivamente dai più importanti magazine e webzine. Le cinque canzoni di questo EP vengono anche selezionate per molte compilation nazionali ed internazionali. A novembre del 2009 è stato pubblicato uno split in vinile con gli Icon Of Hyemes, mathcore senzasperanza dal '99, prodotto da Cynic Lab. Durante la sua attività la band ha suonato in Francia, in Austria, in Germania e nelle principali città del nord Italia, dividendo il palco con gruppi del calibro di: Ben Frost (IS), Ramesses (UK), Orthodox (ES), Year Of No Light (FR), Celeste (FR), Callisto (FIN), Ehnahre (ex-membri dei Kayo Dot, USA), Nerv (FR), Ordinary Men And Women (USA), Vanity Ink (FIN), Gary Suicidal Kids Commando (FR), Dirty Fingers Licked (FR), Nerv (FR), Innerty (FR), Claudio Rocchetti (IT/DE), Morkobot, Cubre, Lento, Viscera///, Infection Code, Inferno, Incoming Cerebral Overdrive, Psychofagist, The End Of 6000 Years, Abel Is Dying, Stalker (ex-Kafka) e To Kill.

The band was born in Feltre (BL, ITALY) in January 2005 and made up of Giacomo (guitar/voice), Simone (drums) and Beatrice (bass). At the beginning they played noise/post-rock/alternative rock. The following year, because of line-up changings, the sound became progressively heavy, violent and complicated, coming to play post-hardcore like Converge, Botch and The Dillinger Escape Plan. In 2007 the group took part in “Giovani di Note”, a contest for new musical groups, reaching the finals. In the same period they recorded an EP by Rizoma Produzioni; one of the five songs recorded has been selected for “NeuroSounds Vol.1: Stones From The Sky” which is the first compilation about the “POST” Italian scene, downloadable from: neuroprison.blogspot.com. Then other tracks have been selected for new compilations: Italia Violenta III, Mosh Your Brain, Rock Belluno Vol. 1 e The Comp 2 (USA). In the meantime the EP has been reviewed very positively by the most important webzines and magazines. During its activity the band played in France and in Austria and it shared stage with important bands such as: Gary Suicidal Kids Commando, Cubre, Lento, Viscera///, Infection Code, Incoming Cerebral Overdrive, Abel Is Dying and To Kill.
